ΠAIΩNIOY ΣYNAPXIA ANTIOXEΩN Athena standing left, holding spear with her right hand and shield with her left. RPC I 2834. An excellent and unusually complete example. About extremely fine.

Synarchy literally means 'joint rule'. Here it refers to a committee of magistrates under the lead of Paionios, who was probably responsible for the coin production of the polis
